MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
- Holders of Ph.D.degree as on the date of Notification of these Regulation, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D.degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for award of Ph.D.degree), Regulation, 2009 and so adopted by the university, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
- A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the SC/ST/Differently - abled (Physically and visually handicapped) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions, Rounding off marks of make it to 55% or 50% as the case may be through grace mark procedure etc., by universities is not permissible of claiming relaxation.
Other Conditions:
- For all above post education qualifications service conditions and salary etc. are as per the rules & regulation of Govt. of Maharashtra, UGC and North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.
- For the above mentioned posts qualified candidate are requested to submit attested copies of certificates along with application form within 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement in favor of Principal / Chairman of the Institute. One copy of application form should be send to the Asst.Registrar, Approval section, NMU, Jalgaon within 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement. The candidates who are already in service they send their application through proper channel.
- As per Government Resolution No. CBC-10/2003/P.K/MVK, Dated 28 th January, 2004. SC/VJ-NT/OBC/candidates shall submit their Validity Certificates within 03 months from the date of joining (if validity is not available at the time of interview)
- As per Government Resolution No.STC-1099/P.K.-14/C-10, Dated 16th August, 2000 &STC/ 14200/ PK-43/C-10/Dated 27th January, 2003candidates belonging to ST Category is mandatory to submit Caste Validity Certificate at the time of interview.
As per Government Resolution No. SRV-1097/P.K.-31/98/16-1, Dated 16th March, 1999 3% Reservation for Physically Handicapped and 30 % Reservation for women shall be observed.
